Just a few short moments ago, Lydia walked over to her chair at the table, poked at her booster and said "Dees?" (AKA "this" in Lydia speak) she then proceeded to sign "more" and looked at me with a stern face and said "eggs".
"you want some scrambled eggs?"
"Eggs!" she repeated and tried to climb into her booster by herself.
Having never experienced a 16 month old language explosion before, I stood in shock for about two minutes before hauling my booty into the kitchen to cook up some eggs.
